Like all NFL fans and football aficionados, I hadn’t heard of the name Don Muhlbach before yesterday.

But apparently, this dude is a God amongst men in Detroit.

I mean, if you know who the long snapper on your team is, that means your punting too much.

The guy played 17 years for the Lions and I can’t help but realize that he’s never won a division title or a playoff game. C’mon Donny. Be better.

Maybe his release will be addition by subtraction. I’m just saying, that’s a lot of hubbub for a guy that averaged 1.5 tackles per year.
