After Trading back from 10 to 12, the Dallas Cowboys go with Micah Parsons

The Dallas Cowboys may have been pretty smart to start the 2021 NFL Draft. They traded with the Philadelphia Eagles and gained a third-round pick to drop two spots.

With that twelfth overall pick, Jerry Jones and Co. went with smart and went on the defensive side of the ball. They drafted Penn St. linebacker Micah Parsons.

Parsons is a plug and play guy who should start day one. He is a 6’3″, 245-pound physical freak, who opted out of the 2020 season. But that should dissuade anyone from the talent he brings to the table. He has almost 200 tackles and 6.5 sacks in those two seasons with the Nittany Lions.

Dallas lost Sean Lee to retirement and may have just found their replacement.
