I didn’t watch a single second of this game. I was golfing at a private country club in South Lyon. Have to know people to get on that course.
But when you get a chance to golf in November……. You do it. Don’t think, do it!!
I mean I could easily spin this loss on Matthew Stafford being on the Covid list for the whole week and not getting any practice, but that would just make to much sense. So I won’t do it. I could. But I won’t. I literally can’t break any of this game down. I don’t know what worked or didn’t. The ONLY thing I have is that when I was parking golf balls next to each hole for gimmie birdies & pars, I was checking my phone for updates and it looked like Stafford had some really poorly timed interceptions. I think we had plenty of chances to take the lead but we never did it. Delvin Cook rushed over 200 yards and that is just unacceptable. You can’t let that happen. Some people will try and say “I told you so!” or “I saw this Lions team 5 weeks ago, and they never had it”……..
I would tell those people that they are soft.
Have some balls and just cheer for your team. No matter what you think you see in week 2 or 3. You ALWAYS let the season play out. ALWAYS. You truly never know what will happen. It doesn’t make you a hero if you predicted your “favorite” team to suck and lose. You suck and lose. Whatever.
Bottom line is that it might be time to start tanking and play for a draft pick. I really don’t believe that, but sometimes you have to read the situation and just realize, it could be time. Butttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt I think we are still going 10-6. I called it weeks ago and until we lose 7 games, I’m standing by it. The NFL might be letting 8 teams in each conference so we have a chance if you like it or not. Just have to go on a run.
