Yes I know. It’s embarrassing, sucks, angry, confusing and many more words you could probably come up but it’s not the end all, be all.

We’re going to be okay.

The Saints are a better team then we are. They’re a better program then we are. Sean Payton runs one of the best in the NFL and we’re trying to build one. It takes time to re-build one of the worst programs in NFL history and it doesn’t just happen in a blink of an eye. And it shouldn’t.

I told you last week after a win that we will lose this game. We shouldn’t beat the Saints. But sometimes it’s OKAY to believe and have hope. It’s not going to hurt anything or anyone. You will be okay. Sure, you might have that feeling in the back of your head that keeps telling you….

“we suck, we suck,we suck,we suck”

But life is way to short to be realistic and point out all the bad things about the Lions. Live a little and believe in something!

This will be a long week and next week will suck even more. I know 97.1 the ticket will be calling for Patrica to be fired but that will put us back another 3 years. If we all can get through the next two weeks without killing each other, I think we are going on a streak.

The real world isn’t a fun place. Dark clouds, way too many responsibilities. A fantasy world with gum balls and zero responsibilities is a much more fun place to be.
