
Days after the debate, it was announced this morning that The Don himself, along with wife Melania, had tested positive for the Rona. This comes in wake of close White House advisor, Hope Hicks, recently testing positive as well, suggesting this is who they may have contracted the virus from, just one month out from the election.
CNN’s Chief Medical Analyst, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who is the associate professor of neurosurgery at Emory College Hospital, stated that though Trump is in the age group for a greater COVID risks, the odds are “very much in his favor”, stating there is close to a 95% chance he’ll be able to recover.
Both Trump and Melania said they are both “feeling good” and has not been reported if either of them have shown symptoms. Trump’s doctor stated, he will continue to do his job “without disruption”, as the couple will begin their quarantine process.
It is also noted that both VP Pence and Second Lady Pence have tested negative for the COVID.
