The Best Medicine for a Struggling Baseball Team

The Indians had lost eight-straight games entering last night’s contest. Dropped three of four to the Royals, swept by the Twins and two losses to the Cubs. Offensively they had games of six, ZERO, one, one, four, five, five and two. Pitching was bad. Defense was bad.

Looking for answers and not finding any.

The best medicine for a struggling baseball team is to play the Detroit Tigers. 10 runs on 10 hits. Two bombs for the birthday boy Jose Ramirez. Shane Bieber throws 7.2 scoreless before giving up a homerun. Back in the win column.

I do have a quick question for Tigers fans after watching Casey Mize pitch for the first time…

That dude stinks. He’d be a long reliever in the Indians system. Probably Lake County. Maybe Akron.

Magic number to make the playoffs is six with 10 games to play. Gotta be in it to win it.
