Mauro Ranallo and WWE have officially parted ways, first reported by Dave Meltzer, later confirmed by WWE.

MAMA MIA this is pretty big news. If you are into sports, Mauro is legitimately one of the best commentators in all of sports. He covers/has covered UFC, Boxing and WWE. Most recently, he was the voice of NXT on Wednesday nights, but has done commentary on Smackdown.

Now why is this big news? Because he’s that good. CBS Sports named him commentator of the year in 2018 and 2019. When I used to watch WWE, he was a big factor in why I watched. His skills and ability to draw the perfect picture of the match while creating excitement are one of a kind.

As an AEW fan, I hope that he signs with them once his 90 day no complete clause is up. Him and good ole Jim Ross would be a legendary combination.
