Oh my god we just tried to lose that game. Tigers destroyed the baseball and exploded for 18 hit, but the Cubs were never really out of the game. Detroit had a 7-3 lead in the 9th inning when Buck Farmer entered the game, and got hit around. Double, single, double, single.. the first four hitters. Then, 418 foot flyout, just missed BOMB to left and a hard hit ball up the middle. Buck Farmer sneaked through this game and got lucky to survive the 9th inning, but all in and all got the job done.

18 hits is nothing to joke about. That’s straight up seeing the ball and just crushing it. We had multiple players with 3 hits a piece and these are the games you are happy to be a fan.

It’s unclear what will happen in the sports world in the upcoming days but if there is a baseball game tomorrow, I love our chances. Twins come to town and if we get hot and make a run, we can get right back in the thick of things. Or we will know the season is over. We did just win two series vs very good ball clubs. Let’s go!
