Casey Mize Shines In Debut- Tigers Lose 8th Straight

I know I missed yesterday’s game but I was hoping that would change some luck. We’re in a really bad spot and this seems like what happens every season; Start hot and then lose a ton of games in a row. It is what is right now but we need a win tomorrow. And we need to build some momentum into the next series and we have to win that series. I know it looks bad but we caught Cleveland and Chicago at the wrong time. The Indians starting pitching is so hot and the White Sox bats are on a different planet hot (I think the white Sox are cheating with buzzers, blog coming). I really need the Tigers to win 22 games this season so I can win money! Whatever!

But, the main focus tonight was Casey Mize. Mize day! The number 1 overall pick had so much hype and he lived up to it. He left some pitches up here and there but he’s battled better than any starter has in the last 10 games. He only pitched 4 2/3 innings but struckout 7 batters in the short time. He also had zero walks and becomes the first Tiger EVER in there starting debut to not issue a walk. That’s good stuff right there. Gut reaction after tonight is Casey Mize will win a couple Cy Young awards and will dominate the majors for years to come. He’s that good. The team on the other hand needs a win so bad tomorrow and will try their luck with a day game and Spencer Turnbull. COME ON WE NEED TO WIN TOMORROW!! COME ON!
