So when Detroit started the season 9-5, nobody cared. Nobody but delusional Tiger fans of course. Guys, this team lost 114 games last year! You know how bad you gotta be to lose 110+ games in a season. No team in the Central has done it since 2003, when the same Tigers were 43-119. Not even that trash-ass team lost 20 games in a row to somebody.
But the Indians took care of business. You can only play who is on the schedule and beat teams that you’re supposed to beat. Plutko struggled a little bit, but the bats and the bullpen had his back.
Franmil Reyes is hotter than dick sauce right now. Pitch to him at your own peril. You mean that dick high fastball wasn’t part of the game plan?
Batting practice for the Indians. I understand giving up homeruns to Frankie Lindor and Jose Ramirez. Those two are certified G’s and bona fied studs. Can’t teach that. Then Sandy Leon takes you deep and you question if you’re cut out to be pitching in the majors.
Did I miss any. Reyes, Reyes, Lindor, Ramirez, Leon. Got them all. You’ll have to forgive me. It’s hard to keep up when you hit this many homeruns.
OH SHIT! I almost forgot. Willi (no E in my name) Castro was 0-for-4 with three K’s and very much not a problem.
The Indians are now 13-9 which roughly translates to 35-24 in a regular season.
