What a great day for a baseball game. After taking the brooms to the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend with a clean 3 game sweep, Detroit welcomes the hot White Sox to Comerica Park for a 3 game series.

I know what you are thinking, yes, I’m still going to do post game thought blogs but, this weekend I missed every game and I apologize for that. I was up north and the days run quick up north and WiFi is always an issue. No excuses but that’s why I’ll give you a line up preview tonight and maybe tomorrow.

8-10-2020 Detroit Tigers Batting Order: I love our lineup and it’s becoming deadly. If you watch the Tigers, nothing new here. Same ole lineup.

Leading off and playing SS, Niko Goodrum.

Batting 2nd and also playing 2nd, Jonathon Schoop.

Batting thiiiiiiiirrrrrrd, the big fella, triple crown winner, Miguel Cabrera!

Clean up the mess, 1st baseman, CJ, Cron.

In the 5th spot, the candy man, Jeimer Canderlario….. Candy is soooo hot right now. I’m smelling a homer or 3 hits.

Batting 6th, Victor Reyes.

7th, Travis Demeritte

In the 8 spot, and behind the plate, Austin Romine.

In the 9 hole, the second lead off hitter, the next superstar in the league, Jacoby Jones.

Michael Fulmer takes bump and I think Daniel Norris might be the second starter. Fulmer will pitch 3-4 innings and then Norris will take over.

Weekend Thoughts– What a series this was! Friday was a back and forth nail bitter that would have SUCKED if we lost and we maybe get swept in we lost Friday. Saturday was an all time game with the 4 of the first 5 batters hitting home runs. Truly amazing and will never forget where I was when I saw it. Then, Sunday was a pitchers duel with our ace, Spencer Turnbull, straight dicing up the Pirates and the king, Miguel Cabrera, had the game winning hit in the 8th inning. People are starting to buzz about the Tigers start and we have to keep the momentum going! I think after these 3 games we’re going to be off for another week. We’re suppose to play the Cardinals AGAIN and they are still all sick with Covid. Truly amazing the Cardinals are in worst shape then the Marlins.
