Tough day for the Tigers. They drop the night cap of the double header 4-0 and just couldn’t get anything going vs Trever Bauer. Tigers are sitting at 5-5 and honestly, I’ll take that. We’re still 1.5 games back of 1st place and are maybe 1 game back of the wild card. Just have to keep winning as many games as we can.

1 Observation– Trevor Bauer is good. Even though he’s very annoying, he’s good. He is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball and he just had it going today. I hate to say it but I think the Tigers grounds crew team got him pissed off. So he just decided to 2 hit us.

Some will look at this double header as a disappointment but we had a chance to win game 1 and we were one big hat away. Tough but we will move on.

Upcoming week: some good news this week, we were suppose to play the Cardinals for a 4 game series. 2 in Detroit and 2 in St. Louis. Since the Cardinals are dealing with Covid, the entire series is in Detroit. Tigers will have their first off day tomorrow and then start the series Tuesday. They have another double header on Wednesday and then finish the series Thursday. The Cardinals are good and they might be down a few players due to covid but this will be a pivotal series in which way the season will be going. Then we head to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates for a weekend series. If we can make it through St.Louis we can take advantage of Pittsburgh being down this season and add some more wins to the total.
