On the morning of Tuesday June 30th, FBI agents made arrest to four Toledo City Council members on accounts of alleged bribery, following a two year investigation. One of the alleged members included fictitious Head Coach Gus Duggerton of the Toledo Rockets, who recently received the key to the city.

Fresh off a National Championship, allegations against the head coach have been looming for several years, involving bribery to recruit players over his tenure as coach. This tenure includes his first season with Toledo, as well as possible tampering in while down Knoxville, during his time with the Volunteers. Duggerton has remained silent on the allegations, due to apparent health conditions and no further comment from neither the University nor the team have been made.

No charges have been placed on the coach and the NCAA is currently reviewing the pending situation. More on this developing story to come.
