Jeimer Candelario is hitting .194

But every solid young prospect goes through a sophomore slump and this is exactly what he’s experiencing right now. Niko Goodrum also might be going through one too.

But I think it’s a smart move to move him down. Take some pressure off and let him find his groove again Vs some sub par pitching. Candelario was the Cubs number one prospect in their organization when we traded Alex Avila and Justin Wilson to the Cubs. We also got Issac Pareades who is our 5th best prospect right now in Double-A.

Candy man is our future at the hot corner and he will back in Detroit in no time. Just need to get out of this horrid slump.
